He previously held the position of Regional President North America for the starters and generators division. In this new position, Mr. Winchip is responsible for all chassis systems control business activities in North America.
Winchip joined Bosch in 1986 as an industrial engineer in Charleston, South Carolina. He held positions of increasing responsibility in the industrial engineering team until 1996, when he was promoted to manager of manufacturing operations and engineering in the automotive chassis division. In 2002, Winchip was promoted to director of process improvement in the automotive powertrain division.
Winchip earned his bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from North Carolina State University and a master’s in business administration from the University of South Carolina.
