Targeted Skills: The intern should have experience in wireless sensor networks systems development.

Required skills:

• Experience in network protocol modeling, analysis and simulation using OPNET
• Knowledge and experience in wireless protocol development
• Experience in wireless sensor network systems development
• Understanding software engineering principle
• Good programming skills in C/C++

Preferable skills:

• Experience of the Eclipse plug-in development environment
• Experience in the tool development using Java

Duties/ Tasks: The intern will develop wireless communication analysis models (e.g., interference analysis) using OPNET. The intern will need to understand our proprietary protocols for the wireless applications targeting large scaled sensor networks. He/She will need to apply state-of-the-art analysis models to our protocols and enable to run the models in the OPNET.

Part-time (e.g., 20 hrs/week) is acceptable and extended internship (>3 months) is strongly encouraged.
