In this position, he is responsible for all operational activities in automotive navigation systems, instrument systems and vehicle connectivity within the North America region. Since joining Bosch in 1986, Peters has held positions of increasing responsibility, including application engineering and project management of chassis systems products with domestic and non-domestic customers, both in Germany and in the U.S. With nearly 10 years of sales responsibility for a variety of European customers, Peters most recently served as executive vice president, original equipment sales for Chrysler, serving as Bosch's primary liaison with Chrysler Group LLC, responsible for relationship management, planning and customer strategy. Prior to Bosch, Peters worked in Germany as a technician for passenger cars, engines and racing cars with VW/Audi/Porsche.
Peters first earned an automotive technician degree in Krefeld, Germany in 1979, before he advanced his education with engineering degrees in automotive engineering and business administration respectively.
