Duties/Tasks:

The Robert Bosch Research and Technology Center in Cambridge MA in collaboration with the MIT Department of Materials Science is recruiting students to work on algorithm and infrastructure development for computational modeling of new materials for energy applications.

The world's largest private company, Bosch is a global industry leader in manufacturing and research areas ranging from automotive systems and wireless sensors to natural language recognition and renewable energy technologies. Bosch research RTC is part of corporate research that has multiple locations worldwide and employs almost 2000 PhD scientists. Our focus is on long term fundamental research and close collaboration with leading university groups.

The joint MIT/Bosch projects focuses on high-throughput computational materials design using modern atomistic methods to simulate thousands of candidate materials for renewable energy applications. Such computational produce vast amounts of data that need to be well - organized and quickly analyzed. The objective of this internship is the implementation of an efficient automatic computational database environment and data analysis algorithms
