• Develop and apply data mining or machine learning techniques for extracting useful sequential and temporal patterns from multi-sensor time series data, automatically constructing a probabalistic temporal model of the discovered underlying patterns
• Particular emphasis will be placed on model state discovery during subsequence mining
• Target pattern extraction at varying time scales
• Develop computationally efficient algorithms for performing the above
