Introduction
Bosch, the dishwasher manufacturer known worldwide for setting industry standards in quality, quietness and energy-water efficiency, raises the bar yet again with the introduction of the 9-cycle Integra Vision(TM) Dishwasher this month. At only 44 decibels, the Bosch Integra Vision is the quietest dishwasher manufactured in the United States today. In fact, 16 Bosch units produce a sound output level equal to just one regular dishwasher, which has an average quietness rating of 56 dBs. The Integra Vision also represents the ultimate in convenience with a series of new performance features.
"The new 9-cycle Integra Vision dishwasher continues the Bosch tradition of developing high quality appliances inspired by the needs and lifestyle of today's discerning consumers," said Franz J. Bosshard, president and CEO. "With the addition of this new model, we have enhanced our renowned dishwasher line to provide consumers with greater versatility, value and quietness than ever before."
Leading the new convenience features is the easy-to-use and clean CLEARTOUCH(TM) control, the industry's first sensor touch control panel. Simply press the ONETOUCH(TM) button and the dishwasher automatically adapts the cycle to the soil level of your dishes to ensure a brilliant wash while conserving water.
Bosch also adds a unique program called PARTYWASH(TM), which is ideal for quickly cleaning up to six place settings in about 30 minutes when entertaining guests or after dinner with the family -- without sacrificing the performance of a regular program. In addition, the POWERBOOST(TM) option cuts the cycle time down to approximately 60 minutes with the same results as a standard wash.
For added convenience, the OPTIDRY(TM) system adjusts cycle time and water temperature to ensure excellent drying results every time. These new features join the Bosch exclusive Apexx(TM) wash technology currently featured in the existing product lineup. Apexx ensures an ideal wash every time utilizing Sensotronic(2)(TM)'s two soil sensors that adjust cycle times, and an exclusive flow-control technology that monitors water temperature and consumption for top performance and maximum savings.
With the quietest units available, Bosch dishwashers have been consistently top-ranked by leading consumer magazines. In fact, many owners say they have to touch the machine to even know that it is running. To answer this question, Bosch adds the INFOLIGHT(TM) system, which beams a red light from the bottom of the dishwasher to the floor to let you know that it is on. Available as a stainless steel or fully integrated model, the Integra Vision dishwasher is available to consumers now with an MSRP of $1,699.
Bosch Dishwasher Line
Sophisticated European design has made Bosch dishwashers a favorite among architects, designers and style-conscious consumers. As environmentally friendly as they are attractive, every Bosch dishwasher has earned the ENERGY STAR(R) label, exceeding the strict efficiency guidelines set by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and U.S. Department of Energy. With four unique design styles -- Integra Limited Design(TM), Integra Design(TM), Integrated Design(TM) and Distinctive Design(TM) -- each model incorporates features unmatched in the market.
With 33 different models and an array of feature choices, there is a Bosch dishwasher to fit the needs of every family. All have core quality exclusives such as the Bosch Stainless TallTub(TM) for superior durability and dependability, and an efficient condensation drying system. Every Bosch dishwasher includes the Sensotronic(TM) sensor, which monitors soil levels to adjust the amount of water and the length of cycles needed to clean each load. This system ensures superior wash performance while saving up to 30 percent in water and energy use per year. In fact, Bosch dishwashers can clean a full load using as little as 3.1 gallons of water.
Another Bosch exclusive, Exact Wash(TM) adds Flow-Control(TM) technology that allows the upper and lower spray arms to work simultaneously or independently for energy and water savings. The OptiMISER(TM) option is designed for the 80% of U.S. households that pre-rinse dishes before loading, utilizing more water, energy and time. OptiMISER recalibrates the entire wash cycle, maximizing efficiency at various stages of the cycle. Other new features include RackMatic(TM), which lets you adjust rack height even when fully loaded, making your dishwasher more versatile and easier to load.
