“The Bosch associates have opened their hearts and wallets in support of the company's hurricane relief activity,” said Kurt Liedtke, chairman, president and CEO of Robert Bosch LLC.  “I am extremely pleased with the overwhelming generosity of our associates during this time of crisis.  Our thoughts are with those who have been devastated by this natural disaster.”

Of the initial $100,000 donation, $50,000 was donated to the American Red Cross to address immediate disaster relief.  An additional $50,000 will be made available to aid long-term recovery efforts as needs dictate, such as providing Bosch power tools for rebuilding projects.
