Bosch security systems division celebrates another successful year of contributions.
United Way/Red Cross
Topping its 2005 contribution, a total of more than $31,000 was raised for the 2006 United Way of Greater Rochester (NY)/Red Cross campaign.
“Bosch has a great history of supporting our local communities,” said Shamus Hurley, President of Bosch Security Systems. “Our employees are always ready to respond in times of need.”
The community-wide United Way of Greater Rochester (NY)/Red Cross campaign raised over $34.5 million, which will go to fund local providers and programs that help children, families, people with disabilities, seniors, and neighborhoods throughout the next year.
Armed Forces Day
In recognition of Armed Forces Day (May 20), the Bosch Customer Care Committee collected more than 200 donations from over 50 members of the Customer Service, Sales Support, Technical Support, and Customer Service Repair teams.
The teams collected everything from cough drops and sunscreen to handheld games and envelopes with stamps. In addition, the teams sent a special card and letters from the second grade class of a Sales Support team member’s son.
