Targeted Skills:

The goal of this project is to apply ontology concepts to design models in the automotive domain.

This position will require:

  • a brief literature survey
  • identification of main stakeholders in research  community
  • evaluation of exiting tools and methods
  • understanding ontology concepts (structure, inference, ...)

in order to apply concepts from other domains ( e.g. Internet, data mining) to model engineering.

The tasks will be conducted on concrete examples and existing models.

Research experience in one or more of the following areas is desired:

  • Ontologies and data mining
  • Design models (ideally for control or automation systems)
  • Matlab/ Simulink or similar modelling tools
