Required Skills:

• Knowledge and experience in Service Oriented Architecture and related technologies including web services, SOAP, WSDL, J2ME
• hands on experience developing/debugging embedded software ( using C)
• ability to interface embedded with wireless sensors/ actuators
• hands on experience with wireless sensor (interfacing and software development)
• ability to work independently
• Good Software Engineering skills

Duties/Tasks: Proprietary technologies of devices and communication results in non-interpretable products in several domains. this is a major impediment to developing smart solutions using already deployed hardware infrastructure. The web services technologies helps in interconnection these heterogeneous hardware devices. During this internship, the intern will perform a state-of-the-art investigation on the available technologies for web services for devices. the investigation will focus on finding solutions especially for small devices. The intern will then develop a proof of concept by porting an exiting solution on several heterogeneous Bosch embedded products and make them operate seamlessly.
