Duties/Tasks: Bosch research is seeking full/part time interns to work with a team of engineers and scientist in design of a biosensor.  The primary responsibilities include assay optimization, developing more efficient calibration techniques, and help in designing the new experiments.  The candidate may also contribute to technology analysis and benchmarking.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Familiarity with molecular biochemistry techniques, proteins chemistry, enzyme kinetics, microarrays, and molecular biology.
• Familiarity with standard analytical methods, fluidics, electrochemistry, and surface chemistry.
• Experience with planning and managing your own experiments is required.
• Experience in diagnostic assay development or simplification of laboratory workflow is highly desirable.
• Being able to communicate with a team of engineers and collaborators, scientists at Stanford Genome Technology Center and physicians at Robert Bosch Hospital.
