Duties/Tasks: The intern will be responsible for the development of a large scale e-commerce web application, which is an online market place for the users to purchase software applications and manage their applications on the residential gateway device.  The intern will research on the recommendation engines by investigating the state-of-the art recommendation algorithms (e.g., collaborative filtering algorithms) and rule-based recommendation mechanisms.  The intern also needs to understand the existing software using GWT and able to refractor the existing software design to support scalability and reliability.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Experts in Java and PHP
• Experts in database design
• Experience in web application development using GWT
• Knowledge and experience in the recommendation engines
