Duties/Tasks: Design and implement security architecture for a prototype system incorporating web services running on wireless embedded devices.  Identify research challenges for that architecture and other embedded distributed systems, and work with partners in Bosch research, Bosch business units, and academia to address those challenges.  Evaluate and improve the security of other current and future Bosch products.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Expert in one or more of the following areas of security: embedded systems, distributed systems, web services, usable security, trusted computing, language-based security, formal methods, and cryptography
• Experience applying theoretical security concepts in real systems
• Strong publication record is preferred
