Duties/Tasks: Bosch Research and Technology Center is seeking an intern working in the field of Controlling. The primary responsibilities include:
- Assist supervisor in project budget planning, tracking, analysis and budget management functions
- Assist and independently coordinate project budget planning, analysis and budget management functions
- Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget
- Strong involvement in regular cross-departmental coordination of the budget and planning figures with the financial management office in Germany and corporate departments in North America
- Assist in establishing and implementing policies and procedures as well as recommendations for procedural improvements. Oversees self audits to ensure policy compliance
- Coordinate closely with the Purchase Department to ensure target budgets are achieved
- Strong engagement in daily operative work such as filing, assisting the supervisor with projects and coordinating with other departments
Knowledge and Skills: We are seeking a candidate with excellent analytical, Excel and Power Point skills to prepare financial reports, statements and projections. Prior SAP knowledge is desirable, but not mandatory. You should be highly motivated and be able to work independently and simultaneously on various projects/topics and also be able to work efficiently to assist the supervisor with a quality outcome.
