As a Manufacturing Test Engineer for Powertrain Solutions in our Anderson Plant, Josh is responsible for all test solutions and applications focusing around quality and functionality. He focuses on lowering the defect cost per piece and implementing new Industry 4.0 ideas.

What did you study and where?

Transform your ideas into beneficial technologies. Whether in the areas of mobility solutions, consumer goods, industrial technology or energy and building technology, you’ll have the chance to improve quality of life across the globe.

I graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Computer Engineering. Go Green!

How have you been able to shape your role and make it your own?

As a Software Engineer in a manufacturing role, I am able to leverage my knowledge of data analytics and development of customizable applications for the process at hand.

I have taken he responsibility of creating recurring data reports and maintaining databases across departments that are key in evaluating our metrics.

What are you passionate about outside of work?

I love to travel and explore different cultures and understand people’s norm. Having an international rotation with Bosch was the first time I’ve been outside of the country. Since, I’ve been to 30+ countries – I am always planning my next vacation.

After graduating from Michigan State University with a degree in Computer Science, Josh began his career with Bosch in the Professional Development Trainee program in 2015. Josh completed four trainee rotations before his final placement as a Manufacturing Test Engineer in Anderson, South Carolina.
