"There's a high level of trust and cooperation within my team.”
Yoshihiko Taniguchi

As Sales Director for Car Multimedia in Plymouth, Michigan, Yoshihiko is responsible for acquiring new business for Japanese OEMs.
Why did you decide to join Bosch?
After spending 5 years in Ohio with my previous employer, I moved back to Japan. I really missed the opportunity to speak English, so I wanted to work for a global organization. I was attracted to Bosch because of its commitment to diversity and inclusion.

What achievement are you most proud of during your time in business so far?

In 2013, I was serving as the Sales Manager for the Suzuki navigation business. I led the project team and set out to establish a strong relationship with Suzuki. A “never give up” spirit coupled with a passion for continuous improvement, my team grew the business 45x over 3 years, and I was offered a promotion to Project Director in 2016.
What remarkable story do you think of with regard to your colleagues and team members?
Leading into 2016 and 2017, we had several reflash activities after a Suzuki project launched. When challenges arose, our team worked around the clock, regardless of the day or time, without complaint. We went immediately to the customer site for each reflash, strengthening our relationship and trust with the customer and finding solutions for critical challenges. Only due to the team’s cooperation and hard work were we successful.
